Global Conversations is an international platform for Anglicans to learn from one another and speak into the world’s most pressing issues. Here we explore how the Communion is proclaiming the Kingdom of God, inviting people to faith, and equipping disciples to live out the Good News in their communities.
PARTNERS IN MISSION
Networks of Mission and Outreach
There are a variety of Anglican commissions and networks – each with a particular mission focus. These bodies connect Anglicans globally, facilitating collaboration, dialogue and resource sharing.
Commission on Evangelism and Discipleship (ACCED)
Formed by merging the Season of Intentional Discipleship and the Church Planting Network, ACCED is the primary catalyst for the Communion’s missional life, operating through wings focused on discipleship and planting.
Church Planting Network (Plant Anglican)
This church planting network focuses on mobilisation and training. It is the driving force behind the “1 Million Churches” metric, connecting church planters globally to share best practices and resources.
The Episcopal
Ministry Team of the ACO
Working alongside the Commission, this team supports bishops in leading mission-shaped dioceses, providing leadership development sustain rapid growth and ensure new communities are shepherded effectively.
Commission for Theological Education (CTEAC)
While ACCED focuses on praxis, CTEAC ensures theological formation keeps pace with growth. They work to strengthen the global networks of learning that underpin the “Jesus-Shaped Life” and mission theology.

Catalysing Growth and Discipleship
Across the globe, the Anglican Communion is driving a new season of growth, shifting focus towards catalysing church planting and deepening daily discipleship.
