Young Adult Anglican Advocacy Project: Programme Coordinator
The Anglican Communion Office is seeking a Programme Coordinator to help establish The Young Adult Anglican Advocacy Programme, a hybrid training and mentoring scheme for young adults across the Anglican Communion.
The initiative will give selected young adults access to a year-long programme of online training modules, mentoring opportunities and in-person attendance at United Nation events, to equip them to advocate for social and political change in their own context and in line with their faith. The focus of this three-year role is to create a thriving alumni network who can work for change worldwide.
The Programme Manager will play a key role in developing and delivering the programme, working with the Director of International Advocacy and partners across the Communion.
The role will include coordinating recruitment, organising training and travel, supporting participation in UN events, gathering feedback and helping to build a thriving alumni network of young Anglican advocates.
About the role
This is a three-year fixed-term role, offered at 0.5 FTE.
Hours:
17.5 hours per week, worked flexibly across the week, with a weekly team meeting on Tuesdays.
Salary:
Pro rata from £45,000 per annum.
Location:
St Andrew’s House, 16 Tavistock Crescent, London.
The ACO office is based in Westbourne Park, 2 minutes from Westbourne Park tube. Located near Notting Hill’s Portobello Road.

Director of International Advocacy for the Anglican Communion.

Safeguarding Manager
Join the Anglican Communion Office to provide professional leadership, oversight and delivery of safeguarding practice across the Anglican Consultative Council (ACC) and the Anglican Alliance, and to support the Anglican Communion Safe Church Commission.
Working within a trauma-informed and survivor-centred framework, the Safeguarding Manager will ensure that survivors’ experiences meaningfully inform safeguarding governance, strategy and practice, including when their voices are expressed in challenging or uncomfortable ways.
The postholder will bring significant experience of delivering safeguarding work internationally, including training, capacity development or policy implementation across more than one country.
They will be able to adapt safeguarding practice to different cultural, legal and ecclesial contexts.
This is not an administrative or secretariat-based role. The postholder will be expected to contribute authoritatively, guide and steer safeguarding work and exercise professional independence within Commission meetings and governance settings.
About the role
28 hours per week across four days (flexible across the week, with a weekly team meeting on Tuesday.

Safeguarding Officers and the Safe Church Commission consultant.
Salary:
Pro rata from £58,000 per annum.
