Residential: There are a number of study options avaialble including part-time, full-time and distance learning.
Qualifications: Undergraduate and graduate diplomas, bachelor and masters level degrees in theology, mission and ministry, teacher training and counselling training.
Languages: Predominantly English, and bi-lingual ministry internship taught in Tongan and English.
Comments: Laidlaw College is a private tertiary college offering professional qualifications in counselling and education, as well as degrees in theology, mission and ministry. What distinguishes Laidlaw from other tertiary institutions is the theology as its core discipline.

Anglican or Ecumenical: Both re general courses, but Anglican with respect to training for ordination
Residential: Offers training towards ordination (in the Diocese of Christchurch) and licensed lay ministry (Diocese of Christchurch, other churches) on a part-time basis, although it is possible via Theology House to study full-time towards a University of Otago B. Theol. Courses are non-residential. Also offered is post ordination training for the Diocese of Christchurch.
